Adenike Fasanya-Osilaja is a lawyer and internationally recognized housing and housing finance consultant with over 30 years of industry experience. She brings deep technical expertise in emerging markets, housing policy and process development, industry activation, underwriting standardization, public sensitization, mass housing education, product design, implementation, and program enhancement.

She is widely regarded as an expert in first-time homebuyer mortgages, investor loans, and a broad range of real estate finance solutions. Her strong academic and professional background includes a Master of Laws (LLM), Business Administration (ACIS), and multiple specialized certifications, including Islamic Mortgage Certified Expert (MDIF), Certified Consumer Credit Consultant (FCRA), Certified Mortgage Consultant (CMC), FHA DE Underwriting Diploma, and Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac underwriting certifications.

Since 2000, she has owned and operated Marvel Ventures Mortgage, Inc. a boutique mortgage brokerage firm in Chicago, Illinois. Her international leadership roles include serving as Housing/Mortgage Finance Specialist Consultant to the Nigeria Housing Finance Program, a World Bank–supported public-private partnership domiciled at the Central Bank of Nigeria.

  • 1987 – Ms Fasanya received her Bachelor of Laws Degree 
  • 1988 – Ms Fasanya was called to the Bar 
  • 1995 – Ms Fasanya graduated and became an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (ICSA) – equivalent to a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. 
  • 1997 – She was certified as an FHA Direct Endorsement (DE) Underwriter
  • 1997-2012 – Ms Fasanya, also, has completed countless hours of Education in Loan Origination, Loan Processing, Credit and Risk Underwriting, Closing and Title Insurance, etc. 
  • 2008 – She received her Certification on the Fair Credit Reporting Act from CDIA
  •  2011 – Ms Fasanya received her Master Diploma in Islamic Finance 
  • 2008 – She was awarded the prestigious Certified Mortgage Consultant (CMC) designation by the National Association of Mortgage Brokers (NAMB) 
  • 2015 – Ms Fasanya received her Master of Laws in Taxation (LLM) from DePaul University, Chicago, Illinois
